Wave Walker 2

Overview

In Wave Walker 2, the darkness remains, but the adventure takes a new shape as a platformer. Trapped once more in a labyrinth filled with pitch-black shadows, you must navigate treacherous paths and avoid lurking dangers. Using your sonar tool, you can reveal the hidden world around you, illuminating platforms, obstacles, and creatures in brief flashes of light.

The sonar echoes through the darkness, momentarily bringing the environment into view. But be careful; overuse of the sonar will attract nearby enemies. With every pulse, your surroundings become clearer, but so does your presence in this dangerous world.

How to Play

Movement

Use A and D to move left and right (or Arrow Keys). Navigate platforms, avoid traps, and time your jumps carefully to survive. Press Space to jump and reach higher areas.

Sonar Pulse

Press K or use the Left Mouse Button to emit a sonar pulse from your character's position. The sonar wave travels outward, revealing the outline of the world around you, including hidden platforms and objects. It can also be used to activate switches or find hidden pathways.

Platforming & Puzzles

The levels feature complex platforming sections, requiring you to jump, climb, and evade enemies while using sonar to guide your way. Solve environmental puzzles by interacting with sonar-sensitive objects and finding secret passages.

Enemies

Enemies react to the sonar pulse and will become more aggressive if the wave touches them. Use sonar strategically to detect their locations and avoid getting caught.
